Events FAQs
What should campers bring?
Campers should bring a water bottle and a small snack each day. All LEGO materials, tools, and equipment needed for camp activities are provided by Bricks & Minifigs Frisco.
Do kids take LEGO home?
Some camps include special take-home builds or kits that campers get to keep. There is more information on each camp page.
Examples include:
• LEGO Friends Town Camp – Campers take home the LEGO sets and builds they create during the week to continue building their town at home.
• Robotics & Coding Camp (Beginner) – Campers receive a ViNee Robotics Hub so they can continue building and programming robots after camp ends.
Other camps focus on large collaborative builds or challenges, so the LEGO bricks remain at the store for future campers.
What happens if we miss a day?
Because camps build on activities throughout the week, we cannot offer make-up days for missed sessions.
However, our instructors will help campers quickly catch up so they can continue participating in the activities. If there are any concerns, please reach out!
Can siblings attend together?
Yes! Many siblings attend camp together.
If siblings fall into different age ranges, please contact us and we will do our best to help place them in a camp that works well for both.
What experience is needed for robotics?
No experience is required for beginner camps!
Our instructors guide campers step-by-step through activities and challenges.
Advanced camps are designed for older campers or those who have already taken robotics or stop-motion camps.
What is a typical daily schedule?
Each camp includes a mix of building time, challenges, and collaborative activities.
A typical day may include:
Warm-up building challenge
Main building or engineering activity
Testing and improving designs
Team challenges or competitions
Every camp ends the week with a special Friday event such as a race, movie premiere, competition, or showcase.
